Paycom will host its inaugural UCO Night from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at its corporate headquarters located at 7501 Memorial Road in northwest Oklahoma City. Junior and senior-level students at The University of Central Oklahoma – as well as professors – are invited to join Paycom executives and recruiters who will be on-site to offer interview tips, help students strengthen their resumes and teach the importance of self-branding for those entering the job market.
Paycom and The University of Central Oklahoma have a strong relationship as UCO alumni are represented in virtually every department within Paycom’s corporate office. Former Broncho Chad Richison, Paycom’s CEO and Founder, was the recipient of UCO’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to network, hear success stories and get interview and resume advice from executives and hiring managers at one of Oklahoma’s Best Places to Work,” said Paycom Director of Recruitment, Tiffany McGowen.
In addition to hosting UCO students, Paycom welcomes all UCO professors to join in the festivities, starting early with a special hour honoring them beginning at 5 p.m.
“We would like to show our appreciation to the professors that help shape future Oklahoma professionals,” McGowen said. “We invite them to mingle with their former students who are now Paycom employees, as well as meet with executives throughout our organization.”
Students and professors will not only get an inside look at one of the state’s fastest-growing companies, but attendees will also receive free pizza and soda.
