Paycom Donates More Than 6,000 Pounds of Baby Supplies to Infant Crisis Services

OKLAHOMA CITY – Paycom Software, Inc. employees donated more than 6,000 pounds of diapers, wipes, cups and baby wash to Infant Crisis Services (ICS) during the Oklahoma City-based nonprofit’s annual Bedlam for Babies campaign. Employees surpassed last year’s donation by more than 2,000 pounds. According to ICS, the 3-ton gift is its largest in-kind donation from a corporation.

“The generosity and competitive spirit of Paycom employees never ceases to amaze me,” said Miki Farris, Infant Crisis Services executive director and co-founder. “The donated supplies and funds raised through the annual Bedlam drive will directly support the babies and toddlers who will be visiting us this season. No matter if you’re a Cowboy or Sooner, we all win when we’ve helped our state’s children grow big and strong.”

Paycom’s sixth-annual internal Bedlam for Babies drive ran for the 30 days leading to Nov. 10’s much-anticipated Bedlam battle between the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Choosing among the two sides, Paycom employees competed to discover which “team” could donate the most funds and necessities for Oklahoma babies and toddlers in need. While this year’s true Bedlam winner will be decided on the football field Saturday, Paycom’s OU team beat OSU with 1092 more pounds of supplies.

“Infant Crisis Services is an organization near and dear to my heart, and its mission continues to strike a chord with the thousands of people I’m pleased to call my Paycom co-workers,” said Kathy Oden-Hall, Paycom’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “Every baby and toddler deserves the most basic needs, and it feels great when you’re actually able to see the impact your donation makes.”

Paycom will continue to give back to the community on Friday, Nov. 23, when the software company joins forces with The Salvation Army and Oklahoma’s News 4 for the sixth-annual Paycom HoliDazzle coat drive, scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon at Science Museum Oklahoma, 2020 Remington Place. For each donation of a new or gently used coat, participants will receive complimentary photos with Santa and $5 off same-day admission to Science Museum Oklahoma.
